What's friendship. There're many ways to describe friendships. Simple adjectives. Close friends. Best friends. Childhood friends. Intimate friends. Trusted friends. Beloved friends. Acquaintances. Whether adjectives, or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word. Friends are very special people in the world. We can't pick our family, we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society or most often your own conscience dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life. Join a gang, and that's probably the end of you. Or betray yourself, because you pick friends for their wit or popularity. Those whom if you stay with, would give you a very good advantage. Friendship is not all that. That's not true friendship. Friends are those who stay with you for the longest, possible time. Not after you've all gone your own paths, and finally lost all contact because nobody initiated to catch up. Friends are those who listen to your growing pains, and reaching out when life gets you down. Friends are those who clutch you tightly when you're ever falling. Friends are tolerant when you're just an irritating piece of AA shit whom everybody else just misunderstands you for. Friends take time and effort, to bond as strong as glue, promising never to untie, the strings tied to you. Friends are the real love. Friends are supposed to overcome obstacles together, not disband once you aren't happy with one another. So when you're ever angry with one of your friends, always remember why you came together in the first place. I hope our friendship never has to end.
