Long ,lucky days. (Do you believe in Karma?)

It was ten in the morning today. I imagine Shan and i looking into our wardrobes, choosing what to wear. Messing up the entire bed with clothes that weren't suitable. Good Lord, it's just Orchard. Thankfully, we made the effort. You simply can't be seen in singlet and shorts there when everyone's dressed so nicely. Feels out of place? Even Gen was so femininely dressed when we eventually met her. But since shan was late, i went to explore Orchard, ion first. I was kind of like stuck in the first level where there was all the branded shops. Ion's like heaven, really. As you proceed down to the basements, it's like the clouds, then the earth, then hell. Alright, not exactly hell. Still heaven but you get what i mean. As you go down the floors, the stuff gets more affordable. While i was walking alone, it really got me thinking of the poor unfortunate souls, who couldn't enjoy the luxury of shopping. Either they couldn't afford, or shopping isn't as important to them. I got to start learning from them, But anyway, I was gawking at the size of Topshop, and the shoe lounge they had. The heels especially. I was practically standing on my own drool. Ion is like a shopping paradise, i'm sure Rebecca Bloomwood would like to raid. I had to message Shan for help to distract me, less i rape the shop. Finally she came and found me struggling with the decision to buy the shoes at Rubi. I was like chanting "Joey, you don't need them." I hate it when i have to do that. Because i have no money. No money, no talk. *SCREAMS* Right beside Rubi shoes, were HAVIANAS. Another pool of drool. They have so many colours and they were beckoning me to bring them home. I had to leave them behind, unfortunately. Quite a while later, we met Gen, who was pathetically shopping alone, so we surprised her at the toilet, undoubtedly, shitting. The toilet, i simply have to promote. It's gorgeous, really. I'm even in love with the sign, how could i not stare in awe at the make up area and the classy design. I want to bring the toilet home, not fair. After we were finally done admiring the toilet, we headed to find backpacks for Shan and Gen. Of course, there were a few detours now and there. I couldn't resist going into Pull and Bear. Next thing i knew, there were six shirts for me to try and a scarf. The other two just had to control me by forcing not to get everything i tried. In the end, after less consideration, i purchased two shirts before they could regret allowing me. Well, at least shan got something too. Then finally, we went to Yak Pak if i'm not wrong, and the salesperson was totally laughing at us. Shan got her eyes on this sort of transparent netting bag. I said she could put a cat inside, and the salesperson just started laughing at everything i said. The bag's not even practical, really. What if it rains? And what's the whole point of letting the whole world see what's in your bag. You're inviting thieves, my dear. On the other hand, Gen was pondering over Volcom or the green bag in Yakpak. We convinced ourselves that we would think it over lunch. Unfortunately, we made more detours on our way to find lunch and i sort of eyed a backpack myself. As you can already guess, i got it. Shan didn't even get her unpractical bag, and Gen got her Volcom one. I hate myself now. Ninety dollars gone. After scrimping and saving. Gone. Flown away back to the shops. I feel like a sinner now, shit. I wasn't even intending on getting a new bag. Of course, after getting what we needed, i had to get out of Ion. I almost entered every shop possible. Except for Zara. Thankfully River Island and Accesorize hasn't opened for business yet. Or i can just start begging in the streets.

Because of all that shopping, i had to meet the studying bunch at 4 plus when they met up at 11! It was initially supposed to be at NLB bugis, but long story. It was packed and they walked to esplanade library and tried to book a room. But they were given the screening room after paying $5++ for an hour, where they could only watch movies, but not allowed to study. So they decided to go back to Tp to study. LUCKILY THEY DID NOT. Or i wouldn't have went. In the end, they simply requested for a change and booked the study room instead. However, they were told that only four people were allowed in the room, and we had eight. Lousy national libraries. Cheaters. School's a million times better. One hour $6++ and school's free. Well dragged Gen along with me, but poor her. Soon as she accompanied me to the library, which i never knew existed, she had to leave shortly after because she was running late. (Thanks love!) I did some constructive studying though, with my IPOD left with her. Done revision up till probability. Recapped a few chapters on standard/normal distribution and all. Hate math. Taught Ely a little. Then the whole bunch of us went for lunch at early seven. (Had to practically drag Kent along otherwise he would have stayed on till the library closes) Marched over to Popeyes at the flyer, and shared a meal with Qianying. (Note to self: remember to pay her back) We had such a hilarious time there, and they were comparing my eating etiquette with Ely, and the probability of this, and that, (Kent having a thousand more hairs than Royston; eg) we forgot all about the time. By the time we checked the time, it was forty minutes to closure of the library and bravo, our stuff was still in the study room. So we bused back. Yeah, two stops only. And those kiasu people ran back to the library and waited till nine. Charmaine and Shaun left us, and the rest of us went outside Esplanade near the Singapore river to chill. Played 007 and got scared by Royston and kent. Damn it, i totally jumped up when they said AAH. Hanged out and talked for quite some time, before we all departed for home. ( And thanks Kent for asking if we've reached home, you're like the most responsible chairman i've seen.)
